About The Book
Chaz Holesworth was raised by his mother and father, both born-again Christians.
Chaz’s father had an addiction, so living in the slums of Philadelphia was just part of life for Chaz, but as he got older, he learned that living in poverty with drug dealers and gangs on every corner was not something he wanted for himself. But how could he overcome all of the trauma that he experienced throughout his life?
On his journey of survival, Chaz found an outlet in music. From R.E.M. to Tori Amos, Chaz’s love for music became vital to his survival method.
